The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Hi,

My dad loved his Breitling superocean that I managed to get for his 50th but he now requires a watch winder as he does not intend to wear the watch daily.

I do no know much about these so any advice on models and prices would be great!!

There are quite a few threads on here that talk about winders, so put "watch winders" in the search field and you'll get quite a lot of hits.

Basically, cost and quality vary massively...... and paying lots doesn't necessarily equate to quality either! Basically it can be a bit of a minefield.

Well known makes are the likes of Orbita, Rapport, etc. I use an Official Time which was great value and I get on with just fine....... however other people on the net have said the internals aren't great. In short you pay your money and you take chances!

But as I say, run a quick search and you'll find quite a few threads on here.
