Post subject: | BREITLING Super Ocean Blue Mens Watch Stainless A17360 Watch |
hi everyone,i bought my watch last year as I thought I'd like a decent watch before I croaked! I decided to have it fully serviced etc and it was duly returned after about 6/8 weeks, after about 4 months I noticed it was running slow and returned watch to BREITLING UK who carried out the service work, they returned the watch and it has been running fine until this morning,i woke up and found it had stopped!!? I reset the time and it seems ok at the moment, question, is this my fault, by that I mean I've bought a BREITLING ffs and expect everything to run forever!!,or does this watch need a rewind every now and then? I would guess I'm probably at fault somewhere here and before I start packaging it up and sending it back to BREITLING UK I would like anyone here to give me a little advice please. the service inc new hands ,crystal replacement and total service, cost £534.80, so not an insubstantial amount, and NOW it has the gall to stop!! |

The watch has a 42 hour power reserve, if not worn for longer than that it will stop. Wearing the watch will cause the watch to wind via the movement of your arm and depending on how long you wear it for and how active you are it may or may not be enough to keep it wound. If it stops the automatic assumption is that your activity level and / or the amount of time you spend wearing it is insufficient to maintain the reserve and over time it is running down and stopping. Simplest solution is just to give it an occasional wind to keep it 'topped up'. Welcome to BreitlingSource. |
