Hi, I was wondering if any of you know the lug to lug length of a chronomat 41? I'm just about to pull the trigger on one, yet my submariner measures about 47,5mm to 48mm, and I don't think I can pull off a wider watch than that. |

However, for me it's not only the actual length that matters, it's also the curvature of the lugs and how it sits on the wrist. Go ahead and try it on to see what you think! ![]() |

Thanks! The lugs do look quite a bit more curved than the submariner, but there's no AD near me and I just got an incredible offer on a chronomat, so it seems I'll have to spring for plane tickets. |

If I remember well it is 51 mm or so. Used to have a Sub Date (pre-C) and I can confirm that the Chronomat 41 sits better on a 6.75" wrist than the Sub, despite the length difference. Of course nothing is better than a personal check. Best, Robert PS: I wish someone should let me know the same parameter of the Chrono SuperOcean II. (might be around 53 mm?) |

The main thing about the sub is that it's flat as a board, so it will easily give you a look as if you're balancing the watch on top of your wrist. Thanks for all the input! |
