Post subject:  Professional II bracelet 'uncomfortable'
Hi, I've just bought a CSO with the Professional II bracelet and having now worn it for a few days, I'm finding that the inside part of the clasp 'digs in' to the inside of my wrist to the point where it leaves a red mark in my skin. It's hard to describe the bit that digs in so I've taken a picture and circled the offending bit!

I've tried adjusting the length of the bracelet, making it looser and tighter (I normally like to wear them quite loose) and it makes no difference. It also doesn't help that I'm ambidextrous, and I wear my watch like a lefty (on the right hand wrist) but use my mouse with my right hand (I work on a computer all day) so where my wrist naturally rests on the desk it presses the inside of clasp into my wrist even more.

I've worn bracelet style straps on other watches for years and never had this problem before, and having spent so much on the watch I want to wear it everyday in comfort! I know the obvious answer is to change to a leather or rubber strap but to be honest I don't think they look half as nice.

Can anyone advise on whether any of the other Breitling bracelet straps have a different style of clasp or the same style but the bit that's digging in to me is shorter? Or whether there's any way to have the bracelet clasp altered at all? Or is it the sort of thing to phone Breitling customer service for help with?

That's the standard Breitling deployant buckle.

You could try reversing the clasp - AD can do it if you don't have a springbar tool.

What I'd suggest is taking a link out of one side (the right hand side as you look at the picture you uploaded) and put it in the other side instead, to move the bit that is digging in your wrist further round. The Breitling clasp is odd in as much as it works best when biased to one side slightly.

Yeah, tried moving the link to the other side and it seems to have done the trick. Much more comfortable.
