Hello together,

since three weeks I own a new Chronomat 44 (Ref. AB011012|F546|375A) and am very happy with it. :lingsrock:
Regarding the embedded movement B01 I found a passage in the current official german catalogue stating that the date can be set in both directions (forwards and backwards). The original passage on page 48 in the "Breitling Chronolog 2015" is as follows:

"Fuer exklusiven Komfort sorgt der in beide Richtungen einstellbare Kalender" = The calendar which can be set in both directions provides exclusive comfort.

Since my watch only allows the date adjustment in one direction (forwards) I am asking myself if my watch has a malfunktion or the catalogue has an accidentially included misinformation.

Those familiar with Breitlings own caliber 01, please let me know if everything is fine with my watch :?:

Kind regards

Wolf

I have never met a caliber 01 that had backwards date setting. Sounds like yours is normal to me.

...thanks for your statement. That's what I expected. Obviously a false text passage slipped into the current catalogue - can happen...
Now I'm more relaxed, because I thought my new baby might have an issue

Does anybody know if the current english version of the Chronolog 2015 also contains such a false information regarding the B01? Because I live in Germany I only have access to the german version.

The English version of the Chronolog 2015 says of the 01 @ p. 48:

"It offers the exclusive comfort of a calendar that is adjustable in both directions."

You can set the date backwards manually. Quick set has to go forwards

Anyway, not as clear as it should be. Movement is 1st class though.
