Hello,

got my Blackbird (from 2008) back from its first service about two weeks ago. It stopped running for the first time last Monday, so I wanted to wind it up but even though I hear the normal "winding up sound" I also hear at the same time (already) a clicking sound and nothing else happens.

It works for a bit but then stops again after a few hours. If I knock it slightly with my finger it runs again and will stop again after a while.

Anybody could tell me what could be wrong/what could have gone wrong during/after the service?

I will go back to the service dealer tomorrow but it would be nice if I already have an idea what the problem could be.

Thanks.

PS. Never had a problem with winding it up (40 times) before the service.

Pure guesswork, but probablysomething not engaging properly in the part of the keyless works that connects the crown stem with the gears to wind the mainspring. If the castle gear is slipping it could be the source of the noise. Should be a fairly simple fix.

Thanks for the answer.

Was at the service dealer yesterday. A screw had come loose (I guess not properly screwed in during the service) and messed up the mechanism and led to this clicking sound.

Hopefully, they fixed it properly now until the next service.
