Hi an update, nearly three months down the line, still haven't got my watch back from breitling, having left the watch at Berry's in Leeds, who I wont be using ever again, it was checked over by a assistant in the shop who noticed a couple of tiny scratches nothing major just usual wear and tear, it was logged on the invoice and sent to breitling. I waited a few weeks but heard nothing from either Berry's or breitling then I got a call from Berry's who informed me of the damage and price it was going to be,£300 approx. As there was damage to the crown! There was no damage to the crown when I left it at Berry's, so I emailed breitling direct who informed me it must have had a big knock for the amount of damage that was on the crown, I asked for pics of the damage to be emailed to me. When imgor the pics the crown was smashed and the B on the end of the crown had rides up and was coming off, I informed Berry's of the damage and they were going to speak to breitling about the damage and ring me back,a week later still no phone call from Berry's so I rang them, spoke to another assistant how told me she had also checked the watch and confirmed she had seen the small scratches, and she was going to investigate it and ring me back,2 days later still no phone call from Berry's so I rang them again I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he was on his lunch and would ring back, imexplained i'd been told that before and no one had rung me he told me the manager would definitely ring after his lunch, guess what he didn't ring so I rang the day after to speak to someone higher.I got through to the operations manager who listened to my ordeal with his staff and he would investigate the matter and could I send him the pics of the damage, I thought at last I might get somewhere, he txt me, not even a phone call, to inform me he was agreeing with the decision of his staff and I would have to pay the £300 I'll stick the pics up on this thread to show the extent of the damage its quiet amazing how two people checked the watch before sending it to breitling and neither of them acknowledge the damage was there when they inspected it, so from me leaving the watch with Berry's and breitling receiving it the crown had been damaged but neither are accepting responsibility.
So in short I'm stuck without a watch because between them they can't decide whos responsible for the damage.
Sorry for the long rant and no doubt they'll be spelling mistakes as I haven't got me glasses on, lol but 'm p*ssed off big time, any advice from anyone on here of my next step?
