Hi. I have a problem setting the time on my B50. First i set the utc time correctly and then I advance to setting the main time zone. But when I set it to UTC +2 which is correct where I live the time shows 30min more than what it should.

Example if its 12:00 UTC I set my main time to UTC +2 it shows 14:30 as the time.
And when I try to set up the second time zone on UTC +1 it shows as 12:30.

And yes I have checked that the + minutes are on 00:00 so its not because of that. Could some one help me with this please, this makes no sense!

Are the digital and analog in sync?

Yes. I have synced the digital and analog. I wonder if there is just some simple setup mistake that I havent figured out, but what could it be.
And in my first post i actually posted the times little wrong.
If I set utc +2 at 12:00 it actually shows 13:30 on main time which is 30 minutes too little
and if I put utc +2 on second time it shows at 12:00 14:30 so it shows 30 minuntes too much.
This makes no sense to me because correct me if im wrong if its 12:00 UTC and I set main time to UTC + 2hours it should show 14:00

Now I have to set my time to UTC +2h 30min to show my local time correctly which actually is +2h here in finland...

I have the exact same problem with my B50. For the last two weeks I was in a country that had a +30 minute timezone offset. Along the way I set TZ 2 properly and hit P2 to execute a SWAP (so the hands showed TZ 2 but the display showed the time back home.

On my way home today I disabled SWAP but now my times are 30 minutes ahead even though I verified my home TZ has a 0 minute offset. I even set both TZs to UTC (00:00 offset) and they both still show the time 30 minutes later than UTC!

Sounds like it's time for a reset, hope that's detailed in the manual somewhere...

Update: Could not find a reset procedure other than waiting for the battery to totally discharge...

OK, I called Breitling USA today and their tech support was able to help me solve the problem. I was looking for things like "reset" in the manual, but didn't find anything. Turns out I really wanted to look for "deep sleep" instead, as getting the watch into that mode is key in the reset process.

To put the watch in deep sleep before the battery runs out, unlock the crown and turn it until the battery mode is shown in the top display. Then hold the top pusher until the watch goes to sleep (displays go dark, hands stop moving). That's the first part of the "reset" sequence.

To complete the reset sequence, connect the (powered) charging cable to the watch for a few seconds to bring it out of deep sleep.

Once I completed those steps, I was able to go through the hand initialization process, set UTC, then set the (correct) offset for TZ1 and now the hands and display correlate properly with UTC and the configured offsets.

Not sure how I introduced the discrepancy, but at least now I know how to fix it.
