Post subject: | dustcap Breitling aerospace B1 |
Few weeks after repair I lost the dustcap of my Breitling aerospace B1. Repair took 8 weeks (was problem with digital, crown did not work) had it back not repaired, sent it back, took another 5 weeks and after that the dustcap was lost. I would like to put the dustcap in there myself, don't feel like waiting some weeks again. Any idea where I can find a dustcap? (I know parts are not sold usualy but I guess it must be found somewhere) Place in Europe would be great, if not, no problem. ![]() Thanks |

I remember reading that you cannot get one from Breitling directly, they don't sell any parts direct to the consumer. Maybe you can have your AD get one in for you, or you could get really lucky and find one on the second hand market. |

I've never seen the cover for the bezel gears on the secondary market, and I highly doubt that Breitling will supply it to an AD because it's not a regular dealer service part. |

i had very bad experience with service of the watch, first they kept if for weeks, then they sent it back because they could not fix it, then they tried again and could fix it (there was problem with crown to change the lcd) then I had it back, there was a problem again, had to send it again. then finaly I had it back, think in total it took 3months. after few weeks I noticed that the dustcap was gone, now the watch is in my drawer for months because I cant find it, I dont feel for the entire hustle to send and spend another 200-300-400 euro for a simple dustcap! I am deeply dissapointed with Breitling, I bought the watch because I loved the design but I love it less now. Guess no more Breitling for me |

Try phoning up Mallory's Jewellers in Bath UK. They are an 'Approved Service Centre' and have an in-house approved watchmaker that I know does work on Breitling - he replaced a scratched crystal on my Aerospace so must be able to get in parts. Their number is on the Breitling site and I'm sure if you speak to them they will assist. |
