The Breitling Watch Source Forums

I recently bought a Breitling Chronomat, model D13050.1 with SS W18K Bezel & SS/18K Bullet Band. It's a beautiful looking watch and performs superbly. It's my first Ling and I'm stoked.

Unfortunately it came without papers and, most importantly for me, no instruction manual. I don't even know how to operate the stop watch or what to do with those two smaller knobs.

Any idea where I could buy a manual?

You can sometimes find a manual on the bay.
Pusher at 2 o'clock starts and stops stopwatch.
Pusher at 4 o'clock resets stopwatch to zero.
Hope you know the crown operations.

If I remember correctly you helped me to identify whether the watch was real of a fake. For that I thank you.

I know I sound like what I am, totally ignorant about Breitling, but at least I knew enough to get one. I've tried pushing the buttons and nothing happened. Do I have to unscrew them first?

Oh yes, I managed to work out how the main crown works so that's fine.

I really enjoy reading this forum. Everyone on it seems to have a great sense of humour and even any ribbing is done with kindness and style.

You don't have screw push pieces on your Chronomat.
Sometimes you need to push a little bit harder on Autos.

Also, I know this may seem obvious but when you tried pushing the pushers was the watch wound up enough? give the crown a good 40 turns to get full power! See what happens then!
