There's not much to report to Breitling, as they soaked me for $352 on their invoice themselves. It was either that or they wouldn't even replace the battery for me. Not only will they never see another of my watches unless the thing is absolutely broken, I'll never buy another Breitling watch. This same AD quoted me $800+ to do the service work on my EVO Chrono. Never again!

To be honest, I think a lot of AD's just scam you without Breitling ever knowing it. Changing a battery on an Aerospace is something that can be done easely in house by an authorised AD. They just do that in 10-20 min and that's that! Breitling HQ will never know how much it will have cotsted you. Only with the Emergency every AD is is OBLIGATED to ship the watch to Breitling itself and they overhaul the complete watch including the Dassault transmitter for 300 eur (first time even for free). If I hear some of the quotes here to just change a battery on an Aerospace and seal the thing back up I do not think Breitling itself is that expensive, the AD's are criminally overcharging for in house service because they just assume you bought a Breitling, you will not care if changing a battery will cost you 300$ let alone in house repairs of mechanical watches.

I thought I'd post in here as this was where my saga began. I called WoS a week ago and was told that the date to expect my watch was the 30th of this month. To my absolute surprise my mobile rang today and it was them telling me that they have my watch back and I can go and collect it! They called at 16:30 though, so I've got to wait until tomorrow.

I'll have it back tomorrow - I'll stick some pictures up as I've not seen any of a Hercules on here yet :)
