Last month I purchased a Super Avenger II from a jeweler in Mexico. I live in the US. When I got home I noticed that the watch would not keep time, it would loose about 5 min per hour after a full wind and wearing it all day. I sent it in for servicing, they replied back that the watch would be repaired at no cost to me. I just received the watch back today and nothing has changed. After a full wind, it still looses > 5 min per hour. This can't be normal. At this point my cheap Fossil does a better job at keeping time.

Any ideas?

Tell Breitling that the warranty repair didn't address it. Any AD with a watchmaker can check the rate on a timing machine and can see what level of accuracy it has, with a loss that big I would be concerned that there is something else going on - maybe something that is causing it to stop temporarily.

Is the jeweller in Mexico an Authorised Breitling Dealer?
Did you get a properly filled out Breitling International warranty certificate with the same Mexico jeweller in the warranty card?
If so, you can push Breitling (anywhere in the world for that matter) to adjust it for you as 5 min per hour is waaaayy faaaaaaar from normal and what Breitling pledges to under their warranty terms and conditions.
If the answer to the above is "no" , then it is simply a matter between you and the jeweller, assuming that they gave you some sort of warranty.

Yes to both questions. I called them this morning and the asked me to send the watch back again. I asked if they tested it before sending it back to me and they said they quality assurance test every watch they service. Apparently except mine. Another thing she asked was if I wound the watch and wore if for 10 hours Well, I wound it about 50 turns, but I did not wear it. Shouldn't it still keep time if I just fully wound it?
