Post subject:  Newbie help on buying 1st Breitling

Hi everyone,

I am looking to purchase my father his first Breitling for his 50th and am looking to spend in the region of £800 max.

I know he likes the colt model could anyone point me in the direction of where I could find one for this price or less I know it will be a pre owned model. Also which version of the Colt would be better as I have read the automatic is a better version??

So any help would be great and some pointers at what I need to look for!!

Cheers
Carl :D :D

First :welcome: Quartz has better accuracy, but Auto has a soul. :D
For your first Ling purchase I wouldn't recommend eBay. Some ADs have pre owned stock or try in the sales corner of this or some other Breitling forums.

Hi,

Thanks for welcome!!!

Hopefully the purchase of my dad's watch should run smoothly and while I have been looking I too have been drawn into the wondeful world of Breitling and am starting to look for myself.

Carl
