Post subject:  Changing the hands on a chronomat

Hello everybody, I'm new to the forum but have been the owner of a chronomat for quite a few years now. One of the first versions.
As my eyesight has reduced a bit the dial and hands are less legible I was wondering whether there are people who can mod them as they do to some seikos.

If I could get some thicker hands fitted if would work much better for me. Alternative is to sell it and get a super ocean ?

Thanks for your thoughts and help

D

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Modifying is generally not recommended because Breitling may refuse to service the watch afterwards, and they will not do any customization themselves. Hands are replacement parts during servicing, but they will only use the same style so that won't help you much. Best bet may be to look at a model that you do find easier to read.

Ok thanks, thought that might be the case.
