How fast/slow is your watch running

Seems my Skyland is running +4 seconds fast compared with online Atomic per day.............so after a week it is running approx 30 seconds fast.

I believe this is within the limit but wondering how fast/slow other members watches are?

If possible list if your watch is auto mechanical or chrono and even which Ling you are basing it on?

All of my new ones are in the +1 to +4 range. Most of the older ones are also gainers, just a couple of losers. My wife's super quartz Cockpit Lady is +4 seconds in 11 months :lol:

My Colt GMT was running about 7 seconds fast, 2 ADs told me that would be fine which I don't mind.

My 4 month old blackbird is currently running at 8 to 10 seconds per day fast. I can live with that but a little thought ; How can the manufacturer supply a certificate when the watch needs a 'bedding in' period. Are they saying the watch was correct when they tested it, or it will be correct after the bedding in period ?. As a technical annalist and engineer its just my synical way of thinking.

The watch was never tested - the movement was!

Since then the movement has been shipped back to Breitling, assembled into a watch, tested by Breitling, shipped to a distributor, shipped to an AD, stored and then sold.

After all of that potentially rough movement separated by huger periods of inactivity it's going to need to settle some.

All of my watches, when tested, has proved to be 1-4 seconds fast per day.

After gaining 7 seconds a day, I let the power reserve run out, gave it a full wind and it's gained about 2 seconds a day for the last 10 days.

After regulation my lovely Breitling is now under a second fast a day :shock: :D

Some good results here............well after nearly 2 weeks since watching the time, mine seems to be around 45 seconds fast which equates now to around 3 seconds per day so I'm happy with that.........:)

I have quartz watches that don't keep that accuracy! I love it. I would really recommend anyone who has an AD that has a machine to check a watches accuracy to have them put your watch on it and then get the print out! I find it really useful as it tells me how the watch performs in various positions, following those instructions my watch is able to be that accurate!

Must be the ever present OCD in me that loves fiddling around with the watch to obtain the best results!
