Hi there,

I realized that by tapping with my finger nails on the glass of my Navitimer World, there is a rather “plastic” sound as oppose to the sound of tapping on solid glass.

When I hold and press the bezel firmly on the case, the tapping sound changes to more a more solid sound.

Would that indicate that the bezel is not properly mounted to the case and is that potential cause for concern?

Thanks for any advice.

Commonly reported on the World and nothing to worry about. The Navitimer bezels are friction fit and I suspect that it's because the World crystal is larger than most that it sounds more pronounced.
