Post subject:  Questions about my Breitling D13050

Hi Everyone,

My uncle recently gave me his old D13050 10th year anniversary edition, which is my first Breitling. It has been lying in a drawer for over 10 years and I think it is going to need full service. After a couple of days it starts walking behind and I think it deserves a good polish too.

I am located in the Netherlands and there are just 4 service points where I can bring it to. The closest one has the following price list:

Does anyone know under which category my watch falls? Is there also a less technical name for this watch? Or will I have to do with D13050?

Thanks in advance!

Your watch classes as a mechanical chronograph and it shouldn't be run until after a service - the oils have broken down while it was in the drawer and running it will cause additional wear.

It is a variant of the Chronomat model but D13050 will be more helpful for the service centre.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Thank you for welcoming me and your advice. I didn't know that the oil could break down so i will contact the service center immediately as the last thing i want is it to break or anything.

Thanks again!
