Seriously, after all the reading I've done on here about correct and accurate time I decided to test my watch and after 10 hours, I'm happy to say that its running 1 sec fast.

Yes, I have taken the time off my PC clock so not sure if that is accurate either.

Anyhow, I have gone back over my manual and now have a rather silly question...........

How do you wind the Skyland.? I mean, I sort of tried to follow the manual and pictures but stupid as it may sound and working in I.T I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.

Do I pull the crown out 2 times (not 3) and then wind clockwise?? and do this 40 times?? Confused.........

The AS has a screw down crown. Meaning that you unscrew it from the case first. You will know when its unscrewed enough becuase the crown has a spring in it that will let it "pop" out a little. Do not pull the crown out to wind it up, just start winding. 40 turns or so will wind it fully adn there is a slip clutch on the main spring so you cant over wind it. 1 click further out and you enter the quickset date function. DO NOT ADJUST THE QUICKSET DATE FUNCTION BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00pm and 3:00AM, as this could damage your movement. The final position, of the crown is the hour/minute adjustment. After all adjustments, gently press the crown all the way into the case and twist it clockwise to tighten the crown back down and restore its water resistance rating.

Hope this helps

Scott

Good point on date setting, my AD emphasised the same warning on my recently purchased SA "make sure both hands are pointing down " ie towards the number six before setting the date.
