I am looking for a screw for the lug bar of my MBL and wondered if I should just be able to take it into any AD for a replacement? I know with my PAMs that all boutiques have a 'First Aid' box which contains all bars and tubes etc for spares and replacement but I dont know about Breitling.. I am hoping I can avoid sending it away to a service centre for such a small (though critcal) part.. Or can I just buy a lug bar set from the AD or direct from Breitling? I am not close to an AD and tried ringing a few that are a distance away but could get to if needed but they werent very helpful and just started talking me into bringing it in and if they cant then sending it away for a full service... ![]() I am in the UK if that makes a difference. |

No AD is going to send you a part sight unseen, and given that the Legende is unusual because it has a fixed, screwed bracelet attachment I wouldn't be surprised if an AD doesn't have one in stock. However, they should be able to order the screw for you rather than having to send the watch away - especially if the AD has a watchmaker on site (because then they will be set up to order parts from BUK). |

Thanks..I wasnt expecting to necessarily buy at distance..I just dont want to have a wasted journey to the AD ... so if thats the case they can order it in over phone and I only need attend when part is in? Or is that expecting to much from thier customer service ![]() So they dont hold a 'First Aid' box...? |

I would certainly phone and ask - a couple of very good sponsor ADs in the UK as well - Andrew Michaels and Banks Lyon. ADs, especially those with watchmakers will have some spare parts - standard springbars for example, but this screw is unique to a specific model and I have never heard of anyone having lost / broken one before so highly doubt that ADs will have one sitting around. |

Thanks again... That sounds about right I am usually the first plonker to lose something !! It was the temptation of buying a ultrasonic cleaner.... I couldnt resist... but unfortunately when I went to refit the bracelet I managed to drop the screw... I tried a blacklight etc but for the life of me I cannot find it... though I keep checking the area and hoovering is banned ![]() |

Try using a large speaker magnet and pass it through the carpet around where you dropped it. This has worked for me several times. |
