I bought a NAVI 01 from an AD last May. It needs a warranty service due to a faulty date wheel. I looked at the warranty booklet an it's punched out with the AD's name however they didn't fill in the date of purchase. Can I just fill this out myself with the date of purchase? Also are the date and the AD's stamp the only two things you need to make the warranty valid (I know the serial numbers have to match)? I'm not looking to scam the system. I just want to know if I can write the original date of purchase in with a pen or do I need bring it back to the AD to fill out (if they stamp in the date too)?

If I were you, rather than writing in the date I would leave it blank and provide a copy of the receipt as the date of sale. Some ADs deliberately leave the date blank to try and 'help' buyers in the event of issues just outside of the warranty window. Breitling frowns on that for obvious reasons so best not to put yourself in the middle!
