Post subject:  navitimer chronograph help

I recently bought a new navitimer 01 and I noticed that the second hand and chronograph is constantly turning... I've just wound the watch and set the time... but I cant get the chrono to stop.. and obviously reset... because it wont stop when I push the top button... Am I doing something wrong? I have other chronos that I have no problem with

Silly question, but are you pressing the top push-piece hard enough? (You wouldn't be the first here if you aren't). If your other chronographs are quartz, then they will require much less force when pressing them. Obviously don't go mad with it, but mechanical chronographs need a fairly firm push.

If it's not that, then it's likely to be a trip to Breitling.

Yes unfortunately I've pushed with all my strength. Haha. I think I'm gonna let it sit for a few days. Then wind it again and see if it'll work then. If not I guess it'll be going back to breitling.

This is the first I have heard of the 01 having this issue. There have been a few members on here with other warranty issues with their navi 01's.

My suggestion is bring it back to your AD and see if they can help you out.

Thanks guys for the replies. It's like the 2:00 pusher isn't clicking like it should. It just has no effect. It's odd.

In that case you may as well send it back to Breitling straight away as it won't get better on it's own.

Does the pusher actually go in and do nothing or are you unable to push it in? Either way it needs breitling attention as others noted but I was just curious.....

Yes the pusher goes in all the way. And since I received the watch from the AD in this condition, would it be possible to give me a new one? I feel like I shouldn't have to pay 7k for a broke and repaired watch. I'm waiting until the ad opens in an hour to call.

My ad is swapping it out for a brand new watch. Extremely impressed with the way Zadok Jewelers in Houston is dealt with the issue...
