Weird. Mine has no such markings. Must be something someone impressed after the fact.


It looks very much like a Masonic symbol, though somewhat crudely done on a very small scale. I'd wager on it! The G and what appears to be a compass seal the deal for me.

Looks like a hallmark.....which wouldn't be on a steel watch. As Sharky said, it must've been done after it was made.
