Hi there,

I not long picked up a avenger seawolf. The bezel has been knocked and now does not click and rotates in both directions. My question is will it still be water proof to at least 20m? Also I've looked online and heard quite bad reviews on Breitling servicing and not really worth the money. Any comments?

Cheers

Steve

The bezel sounds like it just got knocked off balance, and could be fixed by Breitling Service. As far as their maintenance service, it's great. Every company has the occasional horror story but for the most part Breitling service techs are very thorough. You should not have any trouble. The bezel does not effect the water resistance on this model in any way.

The issue with the bezel is the click spring. If you are confident enough you can remove the bezel by loosening the screws (don't take them right out to make it easier to put the bezel back on) and check. If the click spring is simply knocked out of place then you can reposition is and be good to go, if it's broken then it's an easy service replacement.

In terms of servicing, better Breitling service than unapproved service with non Breitling parts!
