Hey guys,

Just wanted to get your opinion on the accuracy of my Superocean. I set the time on my watch September 1st and today (September 18th) its 2 minutes behind. Is this within COSC and should I take it in for an adjustment?

Thanks!

Definitely take it in for regulating.

COSC specs are -4 / +6 seconds a day, so max loss in 18 days would be 72 seconds.

Of course if the watch is not new then it may be time for a servicing, but your local AD should be able to regulate it in a few minutes.

Driver8 indicated that he had a problem with his AD refusing to regulate his watch because of restoring the waterproof rating, but that's the only incident I have heard of where an AD wouldn't do it.

Roffensian,

The watch is only 4 months old and I bought it brand new. I guess I will take it in and see what they say.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I took my 1 month old B-2 back to my AD yesterday; off by an average of 8 sec/day, wouldn't last the 42 hrs when fully wound and I found a scratch on the face.
The AD just noted the complaint and send it back to Breitling stating it was a serious let down for such a watch.
Curious what B'ling will say....
