I looked down at my watch and the dial is twisted. I am pretty upset as the watch is little more than two years old. It is an official Breitling and I am looking for advice as to what others might think is wrong.

The Crown comes out all the way and controls the hand / date perfectly fine. When I shake the watch near my ear I do hear something moving about a bit, but that could be normal for a mechanical watch.

I do work with my hands and I always wear my watch, that being said it hasnt taken any hits or anything that I know of, any ideas on cost of repair or something I can do to test what is wrong?

Also, the dial doesnt move about at all, it is stuck in that position.

Wow! I honestly don't know if Breitling dials are held in place by feet/pins, a dog screw, are pressure fit or something else, but THAT is something I have never seen!! Sorry man. :(

The dials are held in place by multiple feet. For all of the feet to break there must have been a pretty serious knock to the watch that broke all of the welds. Will definitely need Breitling attention, and likely looking at a maintenance service. I suspect that Breitling won't repair the dial so you will also be looking at several hundred bucks for a new dial.

What do you think the repair cost would run? Trying to prepare myself for sadness.

Well if the date ring has moved with the dial then surely more than just the dial has spun?

That just lays in a trough, no big deal.

My guess will be $750 or so all in.

Any recommendations on a repair shop? There are authorized repair shops in the US, are they good?

Any of the approved maintenance centres listed on the Breitling site will be fine.
