Make sure your screwdrivers are top quality and are a really good fit. If the links haven't been apart before they'll have loctite on the threads so will resist initial removal. If you don't have the right screwdriver then a visit to a watchmaker (pref an AD) is the best bet. Had similar probs with my new Monty but managed in the end. |

I know you've already got this sorted (which is great), but just thought I'd share that on my current Steelfish, two of the screws were so tight, even with the correct screwdrivers, that I had to remove the bracelet and spray it with a product called Rocol (like WD40) and leave it to soak for a while! It worked a treat, but I had to spend a while washing and cleaning the bracelet before re-attaching it to the watch. NOTE - If anyone else tries this, PLEASE make sure you remove the bracelet first!! Pretty obvious really, but you never know.... |

You can also loosen the loctite by applying heat from the tip of a soldering iron to the screw, the heat melts the loctite and allows easy screw removal. dave |
