I've noticed that I need to regularly wind my Skyland so I thought I would do a test.

I wore it on Saturday 6th and made sure I gave it around 60 turns before I went out so it was on the wrist for around 12 hours! I put it back in the case Sunday morning and thought I would leave it to see how long it would run for!

Anyway I noticed that the watch has stopped on the 10th at 4pm so when i do the maths that works to be around 76hrs before it dies.

I don't know how long they should tick for but I guess different models may be different.

Anyway what do the guyz in the know think?

I think that's very impressive!

The power reserve for all current automatic Breitlings is listed as a minimum of 42 hours. If you aren't going to wear the watch on a daily basis then good advice is to wind it once a day with about 25 - 30 turns.

A full wind is around 40 turns so 60 is a little bit of overkill, but you can't overwind an automatic so no big deal.

76 hours of power reserve is great, when they only claim 42!

Wasn't too sure on the length of the powere reserve so now I know!
