Post subject:  Chrono Pushers "activating"

Hi All,

So I recently went to wash my hands and when drying them off, came to realize that my crown on my SA was not tightened all the way. After frantically looking all over the internet to see if I should be worried, I came across threads on "activating" a chrono pusher accidentally underwater. In my current state of paranoia, I am now worrying about accidentally pushing a chrono pusher down partially when drying my watch off.

Question/concerns- If a chrono pusher is pushed in partially (not enough to start the chrono), is there a chance of letting water in? 2) If my crown was not all the way tightened, should I worry about water seeping in? and 3) Is it bad to unscrew the crown a few minutes after washing your hands?

Thanks All, I tried to research and find the answers, even diagrams to try and interpret before posting.

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

This topic from the weekend may help - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48018

There is no real issue with the pushers unless they are actually submerged. The crown is potentially a little more of an issue as that does add to the water resistance, but if the only problem was a one off washing of hands with the crown partially screwed in then I wouldn't be too worried. There are still gaskets / seals protecting the movement.
