Hey Guys,

I have just bought a new Navitimer world from an Authorized dealer, this is my first non-digital watch. My question is in regards to manually winding the watch. The instructions say to wind it clockwise, however mine will not move clockwise (it will a little bit but it doesn't feel right at all, kind of like metal on metal grinding). However anti-clockwise it feels like I would imagine winding a watch should feel like (ie easily with a regular clicking sound). What could I be doing wrong? Cheers.

Wind clock wise my good man, if you wind anti clockwise you will hear a spring like clicking sound.

If your still not sure go in and see your lovely AD, they will only be too happy to inform you in correct setting of your new costly time piece.

Yes I may take it in ... it definitely doesn't feel 'right' currently when winding clockwise, very tight/stiff - I haven't been game to turn it more than 1/4 turn. Cheers.
