Post subject:  SO Heritage 46, Different Bezel Paint?

I recently had my watch serviced for the second time within 9 months. My watch is three years old. The second service was within the Breitling warranty of the first service. Both service jobs were related to my watch running fast (5 minutes a week most recently). I don't know all the details of the work recently performed, but Breitling adjusted the movement, replaced the gasket, and polished the watch. I went to pick up my watch last week and I immediately noticed that the black paint on the bezel appeared to be lighter (faded). I had a sales associate place a new SO Heritage 46 from the display case next to my watch and the sales associate agreed that the bezel paint is noticeably different. The sales associate and a service representative suggested that Breitling may have changed the paint color on the bezel on their new watches to a more "polished" black. I find this hard to believe. I left the watch with the dealer and was supposed to hear back from them in a couple days, but they have not contacted me.

Any thoughts on what might have happened here is greatly appreciated.

They may have changed the finish on the bezel (I beleive it is anodised as opposed to painted) - it's certainly not inconceivable.

I can't think what else would've caused the variation. It's unlikely to be fading due to the sun as that is a fundamental thing that watch companies test against.
