Hi, I have a Breitling Windrider Chronomat. I was just wondering what is wrong with my watch, if anything. I go to start the sweeping hand with the button on the side of my watch but it doesn't start, if I gently shake the watch it will start. does this mean that the start level is broken? Regards, Jeff |

It sounds as though it simply needs servicing. If the chronograph is not starting then there is likely a lack of lubrication and / or dirt in the chrono seconds wheel or in the way that the chronograph mechanism engages with the running train. When was the watch last serviced? |

It was serviced about 6 months ago, everything runs and it keeps perfect time but the chronograph just wont start with the button. |
