I've been trying to identify Breitlings that are about 36mm diameter (not including crown) to fit on a smaller wrist. Going through all the models on the site here, I've found the following, but I feel like I'm still missing at least some. I saw one at a nearby watch exchange store that looks remarkably like the Shadow Flyback in terms of layout, but instead of being 38mm it was about 36mm (and coloring was very different and it didn't have the flyback mechanism). Does anyone know of a model like this? Thanks very much.

I would strongly recommend going to an AD and trying on different models. They wear differently than they appear on paper.

Unfortunately ADs in NYC don't seem to have these smaller ones as they are not very recent models.

The SuperOcean Heritage 38 that is 38mmm. The new trend in Breitlings are bigger is better but a 38mm isnt all that big.

The older ones are smaller. The 36mm was made somewhere late 90s/early 00s, I believe

Now I can add my 2 penneth (tuppence worth) and would suggest the Montbrillant at 38mm.



Love piece - full of character - a true Breitling but on a smaller scale.

As others have said - try before you buy - I was surprised how small a 38mm watch could look. I truely love my Monty but was amazed that within a few weeks of getting it I was also adding an SA to my list - who would have guessed?

I am trying to sell my fathers Breitling (Windrider Series) Chrono Jetstream watch for him (REFERENCE NUMBERS B55348). It has all of the links for the two-tone 18k gold & silver band & has absolutely NO signs of being worn, NO DENTS, DINGS OR SCRATCHES AT ALL & comes complete with ALL documentation & boxes (I will also include the original receipt that came with it at the time of purchase). I would guess it was the Chrono Sextant. 36mm diameter. Good looking watch.

I don't know exactly when they were first made but it is in the 1990 catalogue.

It is a metaquartz design which I believe means the normal hours/minutes/seconds display is quartz powered but it uses a mechanical chronograph.

I wouldn't imagine many come up on eBay but they should be fairly cheap as this is not considered a collectable watch like an old Navitimer.

Btw, the only other 36mm watches missed off your list were the Sirius Automatic, Sirius Perpetuel and Premier.

Also Breitling Antares/Antares world.The world also has gmt hand and both are 38 mm if i remember right
