Post subject:  please help...how much is my Chronomat worth?

I'm selling on ebay right now (see photos below) and I'm getting offers to "buy it now" but I don't know if I'm short-changing myself if I accept. Please help as soon as possible as I need to make a decision soon with some of these guys soon. What's a fair price? Is $2500 too little? It's a D13352 that I bought new from a very friendly AD in 11/03 for $3550 (retail was about $5200) .

Thanks in advance for any advice!

$8210 if it were new at an AD. If you find a friendly AD a lil something something less ;)

If you get an offer better than $5k you should take it.

That's a very nice looking watch.

If it's got all the paperwork and is in as good condition as it looks in the pics, then I'd say that $2500 is definitely too low for it. I'd hold out for something a bit higher than that if I was you.

The best place to get an idea of value is to just look at other similar watches for sale on eBay. IMO it's worth primarily checking the ones with "Buy It Now" prices as they tend to reflect the higher end of the market (but still less than High St prices), and if you wanted to go the Buy It Now route yourself, you can always undercut the others slightly to improve your chances of a sale! Otherwise I'd just say let the auction run it's course.... although occasionally you may end up having to let it go cheaply if the bidders just aren't there.

Good luck with the sale. (Oh and welcome aboard by the way too! :welcome: )

I think $8210 is for the current Chronomat, not the previous model that's for sale here. Hence I think $5K may be a bit optimistic.........

I agree - this is likely a $3,000 watch, or close to it.

I see that now. When I posted there wasn't a model number, prices or pictures for that matter, they were all added after the fact.
