Horrors yesterday,the inside of my SA had the dreaded circle of mist/ condensation on the underside of the glass..........i checked the crown, oh dear it was loose, ......what to do now ? so i placed it on a card on the radiator in my office at home with the crown open and after an hour it cleared.....lucky me no doubt.....you do get complacent when changing dates and times forgetting to do the most imprtant things like ensuring the crown is closed

I would have thought that even with the crown clicked out there should still be protection from moisture getting into the movement. I would take it to your dealer and have it checked out. Sounds like moisture is getting into the movement somewhere (probably the crown) and that may mean problems down the line. A pressure test would be the best way of determining this, if it is not apparant what the fault is. Better to fix now than later. Jim |
