Just bought an aerospace watch and I can't figure how to turn it on. Is there something special I need to do? It came straight from the factory

Straight from Breitling? Not through an Authorised Dealer who would have checked the watch and shown you how to operate it?

Have you read the manual?

To operate the functions you need to "spin" (turn) the crown but, as I say< better to read up on the manual.

It was a special order, so no I did not get it from a dealer. I have read the manual and it says nothing about starting the watch. Taking it to a dealer tomorrow.

Given that you can't 'turn it off', I'm not sure what 'turning it on' means????

If it is totally non functional and the crown is not pulled out then the battery is either dead or there is no battery.
