Hi guys and girls,

This is probably the most stupid question that you'll be asked today, but I thought I'd ask anyway!

I have been offered a 2007 Navi cosmonaute, from a trusted seller, and at a really good price.

The one thing that I don't like is that it has lots of arabic numerals, which means that the face is really crowded! I was therefore wondering if the numerals can be removed and replaced with batons (obviously by a dealer and not me), or are they so firmly fixed that it would destroy the face???

Sorry for the silly question, and thanks in advance!

Ian

You would have to change the entire dial which is a ridiculously expensive undertaking through Breitling - well over $1,000 with the mandatory service. You are better off waiting for one to come up that you prefer.

I don't think that they'll change a dial from Cossie to Navi batons, it's a different watch.

Oops, missed the Cossie part - no you're absolutely right, they won't.

Breitling is from the Latin Breitlitterus meaning "really crowded or littered" its the essence of the marque.

The cossie is busy but this has to be the busiest

on a side note - assuming it is the first Cosmonaute you are getting - it does take some time to get used to the 24 hour dial - a Baton Cosmonaute might look nice, but even somebody used to these watches would have difficulties to tell the time.
