Good Day All,

I am now the very proud owner of a B1 A78362, it has been a long time desire of mine to own one of these.

It is a 2005 model and the bezel is really tight to rotate, so tight that I can only just move it.

Anyone else ever heard of this or have any advice on what may be causing this?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

It may simply be dirty. If the watch is from 2005 then it should have had at least one service by now so if it hasn't then I would get it serviced and get it addressed at that point.

Thank for the immediate reply!

Yes, a service is on the list of actions to resolve this. Is this a common issue with these? I haven't read of this before.

Not common, but if it's got 7 years of arm cheese under that bezel it's not that surprising that it's not as smooth and silky as the day that it was born

Hi, Dave. I have the same watch and have experienced the same issue with it after being in a dusty environment while riding an all terrain vehicle. May I recommend putting a few drops of mild liquid hand soap into a glass, then fill the glass with lukewarm tap water. Dip a soft bristle old toothbrush into the solution and then brush gently around the base of the bezel. Turn the bezel about a quarter turn and repeat a couple of times. Next rinse the watch under cool slowly running tap water all around the bezel and then turn it again while rinsing. Worked very well on my B-1 and the bezel turns smooth as can be afterwards. Hope this helps...
Best,
Ron

I undid the screws on the side very carefully not to scratch or damage the tiny screw heads, the bezel then lifted off and revealed lots of grime and dust. Used a damp cloth cleaned and put the bezel back on. Just be very careful it is easy to damage the screw heads being so tiny

Hence why we didn't recommend that course of action
