Things just keep getting worse for me with this POS Chronomat of mine. It still has the chronograph issues, but over the last week, it's decided to start running 10 seconds fast per day. Previously, this thing was gaining 1-2 seconds a day, so I'm perplexed as to why the sudden change occurred. It hasn't been around anything magnetic, so I don't think this is the issue.

Any ideas what may be happening or if there's a way for me to remedy it without sending it back to Breitling? God knows it's due for a trip back to fix the chrono, though . . .

It's not magnetised at 10 seconds a day. It may simply be that the regulator got knocked, not a self serve fix though and I doubt that any AD will agree to regulate an in house because Breitling want them to go to the service centres for all issues.

Roff, I figured a trip back to Breitling is inevitable, but I thought I'd ask anyway. The watch hasn't sustained any type of impact that I can recall, but clearly something changed. Would a change in the weather/humidity/temperature be able to impact a movement in this way?

Definitely impacts accuracy, but seems unlikely that it would cause a sudden shift from one consistent level to another consistent level.

Good point. It's very consistent at +10sec per day. I'll keep an eye on it a little longer, but between this and the chrono issue, it may be taking a trip to Switzerland.

Ya, Pity. Hopefully a trip abroad will sort all issues out one and for all.
