My Navitimer World came with a general Navitimer Manual which specifies very little. How do you set the second time zone? Is there a manual which is specific to the World or any of the other Navitimers which have complications which may not be intuitive.

I'm guessing you didn't buy your World from an AD if you got the wrong manual, because if you did you couyld ask them to send you the correct one.

The second time zone is set via the crown pulled out to position 1 (the first "notch") - i.e. the one where you set the quick-set date, but you turn it in the opposite direction to the date. I'm not wearing my World today so I can't check but I think it's clockwise for the date and anti-clockwise for the 2nd timezone. Once the timezone is set, you can then pull the crown out to position 2 and set the time, and the GMT hand will be synchronised.

Thanks for the info. Actually my wife got it for me at an AD in Massachusetts, Tourneau, so I'll have to go by there and get the appropriate manual. She was afraid to buy it anywhere BUT an AD. Thanks so much!!

Welcome!

What a great gift! Hope you get it settled and that you're able to post a few pics - we're all pic junkies...
