As a newbie, my first question: is there any way to tighten the buckle (the main buckle, not the second clasp) on a Superocean? Mine seems a bit loose, although the secondary clasp holds securely. Is the larger buckle SUPPOSED to snap tightly, or is this what the second clasp is for? The large buckle does snap into place, but seems to open a bit easily.

They often vary a little bit from watch to watch in terms of the amount of friction they have during closure - mine certainly do a little. As long as it never comes open when you are wearing it I'd say it's fine as it is, but if it feels like it will come open, or if it's bugging you, then I'd suggest taking it to an AD for them to sort out. It will probably involve very slightly bending the sides of the metal in a little to provide more friction on the closure. Of course you could try to do it yourself but if you slip it could be expensive! Best to let the pros do it, as they will be responsible for any slips!
