what are the main differences to look out for when buying a steel pilot bracelet for my evo. I was going to buy from an AD at £750 but that seems to steep..what are my other options?

thanks.

As far as a steel bracelet for the EVO, there is no choice but the pilot bracelet. You do, however, have choices beyond the AD for a little better deal. Places like authenticwatches.com and prestigetime.com and jomashop.com, ect. They would be authentic and since its a bracelet the warrantee deal is not a big deal.

Every once in a while I see a real one on eBay.

The problem with grey market / online for bracelets is that the prices just aren't very good - the same as list in many cases.

They can be had on eBay, but there are more fakes than real ones there, and you have to get the right ends for the Chronomat.

Why not look locally, if you can't find a solution let me know and we'll try to help you out through the group buy.

Hey Roff, I just checked at prestigetime and they have a genuine pilot bracelet for $975 (25% off) FYI. When I bought my pro2 for the Steelfish, my AD gave me 20% off msrp, so 25% sounds pretty good. I dont know about the "across the pond" problems with extra shipping charges and VAT stuff.

That's pretty good for online.

It's not as good as I can get from my AD, but I've never seen that big a discount on a strap / bracelet online.
