Hi, I bought my secondhand Breitling Cockpit watch in March. It was under 12months old and in mint condition. Throughout use, it has been losing about 3 to 31/2 seconds daily, which I feel is good. This last 8 days the watch has probably gained about 3 seconds throughout the 8 day period, brilliant. However, my only concern is, with such a large disparity, is this normal. I think maybe the watch hadn't been wound for some time before my purchase. Hope I'm making sense, Thanks in anticipation, Poet. |

That's not a large disparity. Rate can vary by 10+ seconds per day just by being in different positions. It could be one of hundreds of factors, but nothing to worry about. |

Thanks Roffensian, I'm happy now you've put my mind at rest. |
