Hi, I have an old Chronomat Special edition 1994, this watch was in a box for almost 5 years until last january when I send it to Breitling for Full Service.. Ive been using it almost daily until one day i noticed than it had stopped.. so I wind it 40 times and the watch started working again.

A couple of days later I found out the watch was gaining a few minutes a day, up to almos 15 minutes a day.

I read it could be magnetized, and indeed the watch spend some time under my LCD TV.

So my question here is should I send it again to breitling as is still under the 1 year warranty, does it cover this issue?, I there anything I can do but to send it to breitling?

Definitely sounds like it's magnetised. It won't be under warranty, as it's a user-caused issue, but the good news is that most watchmakers will be able to demagnetise a watch in a matter of seconds at a tiny cost.

Get it demagnetized. As D8 says, it can be done by any decent watchmaker and should not cost more than a couple of peanuts.
Than take it to Breitling Service under warranty terms if it is still not running right.
