my o ring was brittle and falling apart. i took it off and now it shows orange. is the watch still waterproof?

Which O ring? There are a number of gaskets on the watch. |

it is the seal on the antenae. it was gray and brittle and falling apart so took what was left off now it shows orange in the gap where the antena cap meets the case. |

That doesn't affect water resistance (the watch was never 'waterproof'). There have been a few stories of it breaking and it can be addressed during servicing. |

thanks, i have found that others have had the same problem with a missing or o ring that is falling apart. |
