Welcome aboard.
If it's holding just 24hrs on a full wound, it's time for complete service.

Wow, that's steep. I get my Breitlings overhauled for $390 at Breitling Authorised Service Center here,
complete overhaul, 12 month warranty, etc...
Just picked one up today.

US prices are here - http://www.breitling.com/multimedia/pdf ... v-1219.pdf. That pricing is more in line with what I would expect for the Chrono SuperOcean rather than the regular one. You have to add the cost of hands to the pricing in the pdf but did they tell you what else was being done?

Well that explains it. Otherwise it is $350 plus hands.

Every time you service your watch with Breitling, do they have to replace the hands?

Yes, they are designed to be single use friction fit. If they are reused they won't fit properly and are more likely to fall off.
