Post subject:  Chrono lubrication?

Hope this isn't too much of a noobe question... I tried a search first-
I figured it's a good idea to let a chrono run through at least one full 360 degree cycle of all the sub-dials every so often in order to distribute the lubrication...
How often, or what would be considered minimum cycle? Once every 6 months, monthly, or more often?

Thanks in advance for your replies. :lingsrock:

As a general rule of thumb run it for 24 hours once a month.

Forgive my ignorance, but would the advice apply just the same to a quartz chrono?

It certainly won't hurt as while quartz models have less moving parts than mechanical watches, they still have moving parts that need to be lubricated.

I would say that it applies to any analog watch, quartz or mechanical, as they have friction points. It's completely irrelevant for a totally digital watch.
