Hope this isn't too much of a noobe question... I tried a search first- I figured it's a good idea to let a chrono run through at least one full 360 degree cycle of all the sub-dials every so often in order to distribute the lubrication... How often, or what would be considered minimum cycle? Once every 6 months, monthly, or more often? Thanks in advance for your replies. ![]() |

As a general rule of thumb run it for 24 hours once a month. |

Forgive my ignorance, but would the advice apply just the same to a quartz chrono? |

I would say that it applies to any analog watch, quartz or mechanical, as they have friction points. It's completely irrelevant for a totally digital watch. |
