I recently picked up a pre-loved Chronomat Evolution and recently noticed that the bezel is pretty off center (at least for my standards). It looks like the bezel is off by a click; one click short and it sits a little to the right of center and one more click puts it about the same distance away to the left of center. I've owned a few Breitlings before and they were all pretty spot on as far as alignment goes. Any idea what could cause this and is it a pretty simple fix? I'm thinking maybe new bezel click spring can fix this issue. |

First step would be to see whether the existing bezel spring is seated properly. |

Thanks Roff, is the bezel removable by myself via the screws or should I take this to an AD/experienced watchmaker? I have a pretty well known AD nearby (Feldmar) who has a watchmaker in house I believe. But I also have a few screwdrivers and some other watchmaking tools and have messed with a few bezels before (although these were ones that could be popped off). |

It's pretty easy to remove - just loosen (don't remove) the screws, but...... If you have a watchmaker AD close by then get them to do it and diagnose the issue at the same time. |

Thanks again! I actually just noticed the bezel isn't seat properly. On the right third, the bezel sits flush with the case but on the left two thirds, the bezel is clearly lifted off the case to where I can easily get my nail or a flat-head screwdriver to fit between the bezel and top of the case... eek... |

As Roff said, it's a pretty easy fix if you have the right size screwdriver, but under no circumstances attempt to use a screwdriver that's not exactly right. If you've not got the kit, stick to an AD. |

They didn't budge at all so I think a trip to my local AD is in order this weekend. |
