Been thinking of buying an old M1 but I'm not sure about the functions. Besides the obvious features, time, date and chronograph, what else can it do? Please, share your knowledge :)

You've pretty much covered what it does - time, date, chronograph.

That said, it's worth noting it is a split-second chronograph - i.e. a rattrapante function - plus some of them have a regatta countdown function - something to do with the start of yachting races..... or something.

I had an M1 myself a few years ago, although mine was the yellow dial which doesn't come with the regatta countdown scale.

This ones a black dial without b&p. Looks pretty cool and the price is good but I have yet to make my mind up. Ticks all the boxes for a summertime beater though.

Thanks for sharing :)

Brushed Ti of the M1 is great for an everyday/beater watch. Scratches are less noticable, gives it some character.
I cringe when I bump my Code Yellow on something hard.
