Hi Guys,

Great forum, frequent reader. Haven't really contributed yet...still building my knowledge...and my collection.

I currently have a 20-22mm diver 2 with deployant on my SO SF. I'm looking to upgrade to a Bentley which has 24mm lugs, so I take it I'll need a diver 2, but will I need a new deployant or will my current one fit a 24mm diver 2?

Also, will the 22mm diver look terrible on a 24mm lug bentley? Thanks for the advice and help...much appreciated!

Both 22mm and 24mm lug widths taper to 20mm at the bracelet so you don't need a new deployant. And yes, a 22mm strap on 24mm lugs will look truly awful.

Agreed on both counts. Gaps between the edge of a bracelet and the lugs just looks terrible IMO. Just take a look at James Bond's Rolex in Dr No - they show a big old close-up of it and the strap is a few mm too narrow for the lugs. It looks awful.

Great news on the deployant. And...I figured it would look awful...thanks for the help guys. How about the deployant for leather straps? Same or different?

Different, the one for rubber has a spring bar at each end and the push buttons that you are familiar with. The one for leater has one spring bar and the other end sort of threads through a loop. Get em both

No. Leather deployants are the same on both the 22mm and 24mm straps.
