I'm thinking about selling a few of my watches in the next few months. My everyday watch is a 1991 Navitimer with pilot's band. The watch works great ( <1 minute a week, scratches on the case and band, and scratches and a chip on the the crystal. A Breitling overhaul to make it perfect again would be about $700 (cleaning, case and band refinish, and a new crystal). My questions is should I sell the watch now or send it away and sell it after work is done? Would I recoup the price of the work or do better selling it as-is? Thanks! CC |
